Work "backwards" -- Show popular/cheap/convenient routes
A spin-off feature of Indie could be helping us build itineraries, as opposed to just helping us price our already planned itinerary. By now, you've probably collected a lot of data regarding routes and fares, both searched for and purchased. With that information, you could help users identify cheap and convenient routes that we might not have found on our own.
For example, maybe there's a cheap direct flight from one place to another that some users have stumbled upon. With that information, I can build an itinerary to take advantage of that flight and bypass more expensive options. Or. alternatively, maybe I've found a direct flight between two cities but see that many users have built in a stopover because the fare is the same. For the same price, I could then see another city.
Thank you for your feedback.
